 For RF Search Method, the Satellite Configuration and Modem must be exact as provided by

your NOC or service provider.

Satellite Transmit Polarization Offset:

• In North America and not limited to the rest of the world 1201/1200/1800/1500/Flyaway

Horizontal Receive Offset = 0, Vertical Receive Offset = 90

• 980/740 - Offset = 0 (OMT is adjusted manually)

The controller and modem must be communicating for RF search

• If using RF search, a valid RF frequency must be entered and is highly recommended. This

can be the service frequency or any other valid RF frequency from a known carrier (preferably

taken from Modem parameters).

• If you are still unable to find satellite via RF search. Attempt to use DVB search with a

Reference satellite.
